The idea
What if intelligence didn't come from a dataset?
Most artificial intelligence today learns from data and objectives that humans have already defined, which limits it to reproducing patterns that already exist. Genesis asks a different question: what kind of intelligence emerges when digital organisms simply have to survive, reproduce and adapt inside an artificial ecosystem, generation after generation, with no human-authored objective at all.

Across many generations, behavior and coordination patterns appear that were never explicitly programmed.
